UKLED has quickly established a reputation as a leading specialist in the UK re-lamping market. Working with a broad cross section of public and private sector organisations, UKLED effectively re-model any existing commercial lighting system by replacing existing bulbs and tubes with an LED equivalent, a system know as “Re-lamping”.
The Re-lamping process is significantly less expensive than replacing light fittings that will still be serviceable for many years to come. And with the increase in energy charges already upon us, the prospect of reducing rather than increasing energy consumption is extremely appealing to the commercial user who can expect savings of around 70% on their annual energy bill.
Mike Parker of UKLED said:
“The Re-lamping concept is on the verge of taking off and we have placed at our business at the forefront of this industry using the latest technological advancements.
“For UKLED, we must remain at the cutting edge of this technology, and by establishing the manufacturing facility in the UK it is the first positive step towards maintaining our position in the market place.
“The initiative is already being welcomed by the local general and business community because of the job creation expectation and we have already employed our first apprentices – its just great news for Wirral and the local economy”.
